"how are you?" This is the line most people asks me nowadays. the start of my year is awesome. My kid brother got married last January 26, I was told I won something, I have job offers and I FINALLY,(after several years) inform my boss that I am resigning.

I've been wanting to resign for couple of years now but my previous bosses have always given me good reasons why i should stay.

Anywho, my boss asked me why I wanted to resign. I told my boss, I can give you several reasons why I or someone should resign but my main reason for leaving is to have a grand vacation and to explore other options in terms of career, personal life etc. I was asked "is it about the salary?". Why do people always think its about the money? It was never about the money. If it is, I would have transferred long time ago.

Let's face it, nothing is really happening here. Unless, you are rubbing elbows with someone on top. I was told that if in 5 years nothing seems to happen in your life, it is either you sink or you swim. I decided to swim. I'm too young to sink. right?

People thinks I'm crazy. Resigning without a plan. Well, I do have a plan but I just don't want to think about it now. I'll start thinking about it after I have my vacation. It's good to have a break once in a while. And I deserve it anyway.

Some people may not understand why I am leaving which is ok but hopefully they will respect my decision. If not? then that's not my problem.

I hope that 2008 will still give me good luck till the end of the year. I know there will be some struggles along the way but I know I'll be okay.
